Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Let's just start off by my burrito order combination is the best. Chicken burrito with: White rice. No beans. Chicken. Hot sauce. Corn. Sour cream. Cheese. Lettuce. I love chipotle, the combinations of the ingredients work so well together (if you order correctly). I first started going to chipotle in high school, who would have thought I would enjoy it this much? I have always had excellent service and my burrito was always wrapped so nicely. It never looked like a "struggle burrito" until recently. It seems the apple valley location seems to have hired new people and they have no damn idea how to wrap a damn burrito. Not only do they wrap my burrito horribly, they never "hook" you up with enough food. They are slow, yes chipotle gets busy but there is NO NEED to have a line out the door at 8pm at night. Kills me every time I go because I'll be standing in line for 30 minutes to get a burrito that is just wrapped ugly. I love chipotle but I do not like the workers at the apple valley location.

Triple D's. Dirty Dirty Dirty......I am disgusted with the Apple Valley and Burnsville locations. It's everything everyone else has said super long lines, bad service, etc. The vent right above the tortilla station is overflowing with dust, its right under the food and every customer sees it, who knows what it looks like in back!! Ordered my what should be a vegetarian burrito and it just gets dragged thru all the slop on the counter from the meat and the other food that has crusted over from sitting there so long. Seriously what the hell is wrong with this place. If you are reading this its probably to late, but the Eagan location is worth the 10 min drive because you'll save that time in the line anyways. Please get new mgmt, Sincerely everyone. k thx

Let me start off by saying that this location is extremely busy. Non-existent service adds to the very well deserved 1 star rating. The best advice I can give to you is order to go. Don't eat there! Why? Well, let's start off by the long lines and the talented crew that put the burritos or what not together. They are stingy with their proteins. I ordered half chicken and half barbacoa... I usually do half steak, half barbacoa but they ran out of steak!! Why you run out of steak when all I want is STEAK! When I finally got to make my own bowl, I chose to skip beans but the guy poured on some pinto beans and I'm like uhh! WTF? I told him to forget about it and pass my bowl along to the salsa stage. When I got to the cashier, I was rung up already and the girl didn't even ask me if I wanted a drink to go with my bowl. Like who doesn't want to make money or help the business make money?!? I had to beg for a drink. And then when I got to the soda stop, they ran out of ice, napkins and utensils. I saw this poor guy trying to stash everything all at once. It was not pretty. The station itself was trashed beyond belief. All I wanted was a damn bowl and I got many unwanted extras along with it. Don't get me wrong, I've had way better experience at other locations. This location is special. It definitely stands out! :D

SO DISAPPOINTED. I ordered my meal online (the line was clear into the parking lot) and noticed there were two people (and no cashier) scrambling to help customers along while others were standing directly behind them carrying on their own conversation, which was obviously too important to interrupt. When the cashier came back, she seemed rather annoyed that I even had an order and when she came back with it, she slammed it down in front of me without a single word (or receipt) and moved on to the next customer. I checked my order before leaving and the bowl it came in was drenched with something and falling apart. It was also incorrect (missing lettuce and I requested guac on the side) I went back up to ask for some lettuce and an extra lid to put under so it wouldn't leak through the bag. The cashier told the other employee to "put some lettuce in a cup" for me, which he proceeded to toss my direction. Even the next customer in line thought that was strange flying by her face and commented "I'm glad you caught that.." The order has clearly been sitting for over an hour and did not have the quality freshness Chipotle is known for. This is my second and LAST time I will be visiting the Apple Valley location. I would rather drive 20 minutes out of my way then to have to deal with the inefficient, unprofessional, and all around rude behavior of these employees.

The service at this location is beyond slow. There is always a line out the door not because its6busy because it's slow. This last Sunday I went there at 2:30 pm (not peak) and it took 45 minutes to get through the line. There were 2 people working the line and 5 in the back moving slow. I can get through the downtown Minneapolis line at lunch hour in under 15 minutes. This location needs better management with better staffing.

This location is horrible, online orders are never correct and they are extremely slow. Sucks because I live so close and love chipotle. Seems they need a new management crew to whip this location into shape! Step up your game people!!!!

Sloooooooowwwww! Rude! And totally filthy....not a good trifecta. This place is always busy, but I have seen much busier locations move a line a lot faster than they do here. So, hubby ordered a veggie burrito and they forgot the beans and charged him for the Guac that comes with that burrito. He didn't notice until he got home unfortunately. I got a burrito bowl and they forgot the grilled veg I requested and the tortilla on the side...someone in the line behind us received an extra tortilla. Every time we have been here they have messed something up. They either over charge us and refuse to correct it..manage is a complete ¥£!\^{! I can not believe that they haven't terminated the majority of the staff. Place needs to be scrubbed floor to ceiling and new staff...bathroom is a hot mess. If they do mess your order up and you point it out, the manager will rip your head off and tell you to leave. It's insane. I will Make my husband stop at a different one on the way home from work and avoid this one from now on.

Worst service ever! No one pays attention to what you are ordering so you have to constantly repeat yourself. They opened the doors late and didn't have everything ready at open. Guacamole was brown which if it's supposed to be made fresh daily I don't understand how it's brown at open. Staff was very rude and extremely slow. They not only were messing up orders but mixing them up too. On top of that because I got a chicken and Veggie burrito bowl she tried to charge me for the guacamole. Ugh just horrible service every time I go there. I wish they would bring back the people who used to work there. No matter which location I go to they seem to all be incompetent. The food doesn't seem as fresh as it used to be. Place is going down hill.

This is by far the worst Chipotle in the entire Twin Cities metro area. The place is filthy, the employees are rude and poorly trained, and there is always a wait even when there shouldn't be one. Locations like the Apple Valley Chipotle can ruin an entire franchise's longevity. I'm a devote Chipotle patron and usually end up driving to Eagan for my fix even though this location is less than a mile from my house. So, in short, avoid the nightmare service and experience of this location.

Four ingredients. That's all I get in my burritos. Yet they left one out. Huh? I had ordered on line and didn't know until I got home. Very frustrating.

Let's start off by saying I LOVE chipotle. Their food is always fresh and hands down the best you can buy for under 10 dollars that's a quick to go meal. I travel for work and chipotle is usually my lunch of choice if one is near. Unfortunately, the apple valley location is the closest to my home and happens to be the slowest one I've ever been to. If there is a line plan to set up a tent because it's going to be a while. I have never experienced a line move so slow at any other location or even thought about complaining about them with a review, just this one.

Where to begin.... Poor customer service at off-peak hours. It's never a group effort, always that one incompetent person working that ruins the experience. I have been here numerous times, it's on the way to my house from work. One time, I was asked if I wanted any lettuce on my burrito, I answered no and she proceeded to put a handful of lettuce on it. After that "oh shit" moment, she offered to take the lettuce off of the burrito. I said "yes please do that," and she went and scraped off half of the lettuce, the other half had adhered to the sour cream. The proper thing to do would have been to make another burrito, but that wasn't an option for her. I paid and left and contacted Chipotle later about the incident. They sent me a free burrito certificate to apologize for the incident. My next poor experience took place an hour ago. The person working on my burrito left after putting all of the salsa on it. She didn't wrap it up, she literally abandoned it in the assembly line. This was after her extensive chat session with some of her friends eating there prior to working on my burrito. Luckily the cashier came to the rescue after a long wait. Very poor customer service from a handful of employees here that ruin it for everyone else. I will avoid this location at all cost from now on.

Terrible service even at off hours. SLOW. Can I restate that? Extremely SLOW. They take online orders during prime dining hours without alternating between people in line that only want 1-2 things. 40 minutes to get a burrito with only 6 people before me? Absurd. Slow is one thing but rude employees and rude and condescending management? No thanks. I'll take my money elsewhere. I mentioned the service and wait time to the manager. The response? "What do you want me to do about it?" Never going here again until they purge all management and workers. Based on reviews I'm not the only one. Considering only a fraction of one percent even bother to write a review, says something about the terrible service and ability of the workers.
